Guests boarding Harmony of the Seas in Port Canaveral on Saturday, Oct. 24 were notified the day before embarkation that their 5-night Bahamas itinerary would run in a different order because of a weather system expected to bring unfavorable conditions to the Bahamas next week. The ship still visits every planned port, and its departure and return dates are unchanged.
Originally, the sailing called for a sea day Sunday, Perfect Day at CocoCay on Monday, Oct. 26, and Nassau on Tuesday, Oct. 27. Now Nassau comes first, on Sunday, Oct. 25 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday is a sea day, and Perfect Day at CocoCay moves to Tuesday, Oct. 27 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the final sea day Wednesday before the Oct. 29 return.
What it means for your sailing: if you are on this Oct. 24 Harmony sailing, your Nassau day is now Sunday and your CocoCay day is now Tuesday, so check any onboard reservations that could clash with the new port days. Royal Caribbean will reschedule prepaid excursions for either port to the new day, and excursions that cannot be moved will be cancelled and refunded as onboard credit to your SeaPass account, with any refundable balance left after the cruise returned to your card on file.
