Legend of the Seas begins its first transatlantic crossing on October 25, bringing the newest Icon Class ship to the United States for the first time. Ahead of departure, Royal Caribbean emailed Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club members to tell them the Diamond Plus buy-one-get-one loyalty dining benefit will not be available on this sailing.
The email cited exceptionally high demand for specialty dining and fully booked restaurant venues. The buy-one-get-one benefit normally lets a Diamond Plus guest buy a specialty restaurant dinner on the first or second night and receive complimentary dining for a second guest. As a replacement, the line is offering Island Vibes, a new $25 per person dining experience at Surfside Eatery, open daily from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with reservations required. Pinnacle Club members may apply their one-time $25 specialty dining benefit at Island Vibes. All other loyalty food and beverage benefits remain available onboard.
What it means for your sailing: this change affects only Diamond Plus members on Legend of the Seas and only on the transatlantic sailing that begins October 25. If you are booked on that crossing, do not plan around the buy-one-get-one specialty dinner on night one or two. If you want the Island Vibes replacement, reserve it onboard once you board, at $25 per person, and note that Pinnacle members can put their one-time $25 specialty benefit toward it. Your other Crown and Anchor food and beverage benefits are unchanged, and this is a one-sailing adjustment, not a fleetwide policy change.
