Royal Caribbean to Sail Europe Year-Round for the First Time in 2028-29

Royal Caribbean is sailing Europe year-round for the first time: Rhapsody of the Seas pairs summer Turkey-and-Egypt sailings with winter cruises to the Canary Islands, Morocco and Portugal in 2028-29.

Rhapsody of the Seas at sea in the Mediterranean

Royal Caribbean has unveiled its first-ever year-round Europe program. Rhapsody of the Seas will anchor the 2028-29 season, sailing Turkey and Egypt in the summer from Piraeus, Barcelona and Lisbon, then stretching west and south for winter cruises to the Canary Islands, Morocco and Portugal.

Bookings for the 2028-29 European season opened October 14 for Crown & Anchor Society members, with general bookings opening today. Europe has always been a seasonal deployment for the line, so a full year of sailings is a real first. If winter sun on a Royal ship is your thing, the Canary Islands run is the one to watch.
