Voyager of the Seas Drops Puerto Vallarta, Returns to Cabo San Lucas a Second Time

Hurricane Simon forced Voyager of the Seas to drop Puerto Vallarta, so the ship returns to Cabo San Lucas today for a second full-day call. Guests get $50 to $250 onboard credit per stateroom.

Voyager of the Seas docked at Progreso, Mexico

Hurricane Simon has forced a second itinerary change on Voyager of the Seas' 8-night Mexican Riviera sailing from Los Angeles. With Puerto Vallarta off the schedule, the ship is heading back to Cabo San Lucas today, October 13, for a second full-day call from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., leaving the sailing with one port visited twice.

Royal Caribbean is giving guests nonrefundable onboard credit of $50 per stateroom for inside and oceanview cabins, $100 for balconies, and $250 for suites, plus 20 percent off shore excursions in Cabo. Prepaid Puerto Vallarta excursions will be cancelled and refunded. The ship is still scheduled to return to Los Angeles on Friday, October 16.
